Biography:

Blair joined MSL in 1998 and has been involved in the development of RF and microwave standards for New Zealand since then.

Blair spent his doctoral years in Lausanne Switzerland, where he was involved in research into the structure of atomic aggregates (nanometre-sized particles) and later spent a year as a post-doctoral fellow at the Swiss national measurement institute in Bern studying aspects of the quantum Hall effect. He returned to New Zealand to lecture in Physics and Electronics at Massey University for five years before joining MSL.
